We are an Edinburgh based multimedia company that creatively captures the events to the highest standard. As conferences attract larger and larger audiences we take care of the photography at the event or/and filming the sessions so that these can be access on line after the event or send to the delegates in a secure way. We often are capturing more footage to create a dynamic marketing video that helps to spread the word for another event the following year. Please enquire for our availability.
It is important that the images look attractive, show the energy that is often present in the room and are custom processed to the event attendees needs (not all conference room lighting can be flattering yet we all want to look good, especially if we’re participating in a heated debate!). We have years and countless examples in our portfolio of capturing the essence of high end, international gatherings. We create a bespoke approach for each event, seamlessly blending with the crowd as well as communicating with the events organisers what especially they would like us to capture. Understanding the content of the event is also critical to knowing what to capture and what to expect next.

Social aspects of the event are also important, we’re making sure that we captured the location, your event’s sponsors and all the enthusiasm of your attendees!

We can do either/or videoing and photographing, or both at the same time. We’re really happy to customise our offering to whatever it is that you need.
If we’re doing both video + photo, then we need at least two members of our team to be there, one concentrating on each type of media.
If you have your own videographer or photographer, we’re very happy to concentrate on the other discipline cooperating alongside them. However there are advantages to getting us to do both: we work very closely together, and for example the one of us who is doing photography can helps the videographer setting audio recorders, doing voxpops, or checking a remote camera in a multicam situation, so it becomes a very efficient workflow and potentially means less operators need to be present.

The simple answer is: any kind you like, provided you let us know in advance so that we can film appropriately. Normally though there are two different kinds of videos:-
(1) complete multicam recordings of entire presentations or speeches. Normally we would do this with multiple cameras and prepare a multi-cam edit of the presentation(s) afterwards, switching between different views of the speaker and audience, partly to help with continuity for example as the speaker moves around, but also so that we can show audience reactions, allow some visual variety with different views (such as a wide shot that shows the whole auditorium with the audience, and a close up shot of the speaker). Also for this kind of video, we will need to recording high quality audio of the presentations, which may involve taking a recording from the venue’s sound system, but usually also setting up additional microphones so that we can take our own recording for use in the final presentation.
(2) a promotional video that has some highlights from the event, which might include evening entertainment or social events, and sometimes with some voxpop interviews showcasing participants enjoyment of the event. A promo video like this is usually quite short, maybe 2-3 minutes, and may include social media cuts.
(3) social media cuts. These can be horizontal or vertical format - or both.

Normally, you should allow around 5 days for conference/event photos to be prepared, however if there is an urgent need to deliver images faster, it is possible to fast stream the editing process. You should let us know in advance if you are going to need images faster. We will also normally send a few taster images for use on social media within 48hrs after the event. Again, it helps if you let us know in advance if that is something that is important to you so that we can plan accordingly.
Promo videos take longer to prepare and the editing process can take several weeks especially as we understand that our clients may want to have input into the edited video too.

We are happy to photograph and/or video pretty much any kind of event - indoors or outdoors. Typically we’re filming conferences, concerts, public engagement events, client entertainment parties & social gatherings.

We like to be a seamless and low-key yet professional figure at events. Usually an important part of the events we video or photograph, the most important issue is that guests enjoy themselves, so we see it as important that we should blend in and be a friendly and helpful presence.
